It can be argued that not that much has changed in the 250 years since Johnson penned this observation. The reality is that although we have infinitely more knowledge to work with today, we still only have the same 24 hours each day in which to apply it.

The key then is not a lack of information, but the need for a process and strategy to deal with it in an effective and productive manner. And this process starts at the top with leadership that is functioning at the same speed as the information itself.
